Our Garden Vegetables-2016
We have a small vegetable garden. Last year I didn't much interest
gardening, because of my father's lost. I spread some carrot seeds. It
growing well a lot of leafs, but the carrots are thin and most of the
carrots are white color. A few times I cook carrot tops as a stir-fry.
We planted some vegetables such as beans, tomatoes, hot pepper and some turnips, potatoes, green chili and broccoli.
Our gardenis full of resh and ealathy vegetables that we enjoy harvesting ourselves.
This season we planted
green beans. Green beans are one of he most rewardin vegetables in our garden. They grow quickly and pruduce long, tender pods that are perfect for many dishes.
Fresh green beans from the garden have a crisp texture and anatural sweetness that makes them delicious when steamed, stirfried or added to salads. Growing green beans is also very satisfying because the plants are productive and easy to care.
Green beans from our garden taste especially dilicious when cooked as a cury with
coconut milk, creating a comforting and flavorful dish. With simple spices and fresh ingredients, this curry
Srilankan Green Beans Curry becomes a healthy and satisfying meal that our family enjoys.

Tomato Plant
|
Growing tomatoes in our garden has been a wonderful experience. This year we planted a
tomato plant and wached it grow from a small seedling into a healthy plant full of green leaves.
Every morning we water the plant and make sure it gets enough sunlight. The plant grows better when the soil stays moist and the weather is warm. After a few weeks, a small yello flowers appered, and soon tiny green tomatoes started growing.
Taking care of the tomato plant teaches patience and responsibility. We remove weeds, support the plant with a stick, and check the leaves to make sure it stays healthy.
Seeing fresh tomatoes growing in our own garden is very exiting. Homegrown tomatoes taste fresh and delicious, and they are perfect for salads, curries, souce for cooking.
Gardening is a great way to spend time outdoors and enjoy nature. Our tomato plant remainds us how rewaring it is to grow our own food.
